1. Grading of the Ogbogan-Ogunmide-Elepo road
Grading of the Ogbogan- Ogunmide-Elepo road which has been abandoned for
the past 10 years (1 decade) has been addressed and graded by the current LCDA
Chairman of the Akinyele East Incumbent Chairman Ayo Akinpade. Com. Popoola the
community representative facilitated this project with the help of the Chairman and
today these communities were happy and grateful to God for sending Hon Ayobami Akinpade and for remembering them at a time like this.
2. VISITATION TO COMMUNITIES DURING SANITATION
Akinyele is seen as the city of economy of the Local Government. So
during this period the Chairman Ayo Akinapde pay a visit to the communities for
inspection during the sanitation exercise.
3. Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) pay visitation to Chairman AYO AKINPADE
The Christian Association
of Nigeria (CAN) Ikereku Zone, Akinyele East pays a visit to the Chairman AYO
AKINPADE of Akinyele East LCDA.
4. Ayo Akinpade at Ward 7 Meeting
The Current LCDA Chairman of Akinyele East Local Government, Ayo
Akinpade was in attendance at the meeting held in Ward 7, Talontan,
Ikereku on Tuesday, 9th of May, 2017.
5. GRADING OF IROKO TOWN ROAD TO Amusun town to Ileba E.T.C
The Administration of Ayo Akinpade
current LCDA Chairman of Akinyele East Local Government has been
fulfilling his promises made by bringing the government closer to the
people of Akinyele East Local Government. The Chairman started by
grading the road in Ogbogan- Ogunmide-Elepo (read here) and in continuation of this the following roads in these towns where graded namely;
"Iroko town to Aba Igbagbo;
Aba Igbagbo town to Oloya;
Aba Igbagbo town to Oloya;
Oloya town to Olode;
Olode town to Amusun;
Amusun town to Ileba respectively."

The
distance been covered and graded was 5 kilometers (5 km) in total. We
can only achieve this with your support. God bless you all.
The aims and objectives of this administration is to develop and to
bring adequate restructuring to the Akinyele East LCDA by the current
Chairman Ayo Akinpade in the education sector in the local government
area. In this wise the Chairman visited the Methodist Primary School,
Ikereku in Akinyele East during the school Parent Teacher Association
(PTA) meeting.
During this visit the chairman encourage the teachers to
keep on with the good work in imbibing the knowledge to the students.
Likewise the parents are also encouraged to support the school
management and also the children in all ramification.
7. AYO AKINPADE AT THE WARD 2 MEETING IN OGBEGAN
AYO AKINPADE at the visitation to Ogbegan in ward 2. As the promise
by the Chairman he went to pay a visit to the people of Akinyele East LCDA. The chairman promise to bring the government
closer to the people in the area.
8. AYO AKINPADE VISIT WARD 2 IN ADEKOLA VILLAGE
AYO AKINPADE at the visitation to Adekola in Ward 2.
9. Islamic Cleric Pay a visit to Ayo Akinpade
The Islamic Cleric from Ikereku Zone, paid the Akinyele East Chairman AYO
AKINPADE of Akinyele East LCDA a visit.
10. AYO AKINPADE AT WARD 4 MEETING IN IYANA IWARE - APAPA
AYO AKINPADE at the ward meeting in Ayana Iware-. The Chairman was happy meeting the members of ward and promise bringing the government closer to the people.
11. AYO AKINPADE AT THE WARD 6 MEETING IN AKINYELE
AYO AKINPADE was present at the Ward 6 meeting held in Akinyele. The
Ward 6 members were happy to meet with the Chairman. The Chairman
promise to bring the government closer to the people and also encourage
the member to support the Administration of Gov. Abiola Ajimobi to
actualize the set goal.
12. AYO AKINPADE AT THE INTERNATIONAL ABATTOIR IN IBADAN
The
Government of Oyo State under Governor Abiola Ajimobi is working to
bring back the lost glory of Oyo State. The International Abattoir in
Oyo State was visited by the Ministry of Agriculture and other delegates from various Local Government. Akinyele East LCDA
Caretaker Chairman Hon. Ayobami Akinpade was among the Government
officials that visited the International Abattior.
13. AYO AKINPADE AT THE CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATION IN IKEREKU
14. Ayo Akinpade at the Ramadan Lecture in Akinyele-East
Akinyele East LCDA in conjunction with Akinyele Local Government Muslim
Community organized a Ramadan Lecture on 7th of June, 2017 in
Akinyele Township court premises, Akinyele Town, Ibadan.
The theme for
the Ramadan lectures was Religious Leadership and Community Development.
The Chief Host of the event was the Akinyele East LCDA chairman, Hon.
Ayobami Akinpade. The Guest Lecturer of the Day was Alh. Sheikh Muhammed
Taofeek Akeugba Gold. Also some special guest of honours are Senator
Monsurat Sunmonu, Hon Bolaji SAHEED Badmus and a hosts of other were
present to grease the occasion.
15. AYO AKINPADE INSPECT THE TRAILER PARK IN AKINYELE ALONG IBADAN OYO EXPRESS WAY
The Caretaker Chairman of Akinyele East LCDA, Hon. (Bldr.) Ayobami Akinpade hosted the Chairman of NATO, PTD and Right of Way to Akinyele East for addressing the situation of trailer park along the
road side in Akinyele East along Ibadan Oyo express way in Oyo State.
"In a bid to address the situation of road in the Country, the Federal
Ministry of Works, Housing and Power has directed all trailers owners
along the road sides to remove their trailers as soon as possible" or
will face the law.
With regards to this great step the implementation as
started in Akinyele East LCDA in Oyo State. Effort has been put in
place to the implementing of this law in Akinyele East Trailer Park
located along Ibadan Oyo express way as soon as possible.
16. AYO AKINPADE COMMISSION COMMUNITY CANTEEN AND WELL IN OJOPOODE IN AKINYELE EAST
The people of Ojopoode in Akinyele East today was filled with joy as
they welcome the Caretaker Chairman of Akinyele East LCDA to the
Commissioning of the Community Food Canteen and Well for the Community
use.
17. AYO AKINPADE COMMISSION THE PHC IN IKEREKU
The LCDA Chairman of Akinyele East Ayobami Akinpade welcomes The NURHI
to Ikereku on Monday, 17 July, 2017 as their vision in eliminating
problem for family especially mothers during pregnancy and child bearing
period.
The (NURHI) II is a five-year project, which is funded by the
Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation with the vision to eliminate supply
and demand barriers to contraceptive use and make family planning a
social norm in Nigeria.
18. AYO AKINPADE VISIT THE ABATTOIR IN AKINYELE
The Chairman Ayo Akinpade has given a warning to the Akinyele Abattoir Management to quickly address the nature of the state of the Abattoir or will face the music of the law. Likewise Directive as been given to stop the use of tyre during skinning as this cause cancer.
19. AYO AKINPADE VISIT KOLADAISI UNIVERISTY IBADAN
Ayo Akinpade visited the KOLADAISI University Ibadan and the Management
of Akinyele East LCDA. The Chairman was received by the Vice Chancellor Professor Kolawole Timothy Jaiyeoba
and the Registrar.
The Chairman expressed his happiness over the
infrastructural, dynamic facilities that has been put into place by the
University also on the transformation that has been made in Ibadan
especially Akinyele East where the Institution has been located. The
Vice Chancellor also expressed his Joy and promised to work with the
Government The vice Chancellor promised to help in developing the schools located in the vicinity of the Local Government Area.
20. AYO AKINAPDE AT THE WARD 12 MEETING IN IROKO
AYO AKINPADE was at the ward 12 meeting held in Iroko, Iroko Town. The
members of the ward 12 welcomes the Chairman to the Ward 12 meeting.
This symbolizes the strength and the effectiveness of the Government on
how they are getting closer to the people. Some Issue was raised with
respect to grading of the community road in Iroko and adequate provision
of land for agriculture.
The chairman promised that the needed
aspiration of the community will be met as soon as possible when the
time comes.
21. OFFICIAL OPENING OF THE EROTIKO MULTI-PURPOSE PARK IN IROKO AKINYELE EAST LCDA
Akinyele East Hosted the Olubadan of Ibadan Land; His Imperial Majesty Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji (Aje Ogunguniso I) today to Iroko for the opening ceremony of New Motor Park called "EROTIKO MULTI PURPOSE PARK", in Akinyele East Local Council Development Area.
The Chairman of
Akinyele East Local Council Development Area Hon. Ayobami Akinpade was
represented by the Council Manager in the occasion. Other dignities
including the Commissioner for Works and Transport in Oyo State Hon
Alhaji Wasiu Azuzu, represented Governor Abiola Ajimobi in the opening
ceremony of the Erotiko Multi Purpose Park which was collaborated with
Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN).
22. HON. AYOBAMI AKINPADE ON A COURTESY VISIT TO IITA
The Management of Akinyele East Local Council Development Area visited the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA).
"The
International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) is a non-profit
institution that generates agricultural innovations to meet Africa’s
most pressing challenges of hunger, malnutrition, poverty, and natural
resource degradation. Working with various partners across sub-Saharan
Africa, we improve livelihoods, enhance food and nutrition security,
increase employment, and preserve natural resource integrity."
The
Chairman of Akinyele East LCDA Hon. Ayobami Akinpade with members of
the Management of Akinyele East was received by The Director General of
West Africa Dr. Robert Asiedu.
Hon Ayobami Akinpade congratulated the IITA management board for attaining 50 years of their operation this year and thank them for their plea in restructure the agricultural sector, research development and the advancement they have achieved during this period of time in West African and particularly in Ibadan. Hon. Ayo Akinpade requested for active development of Akinyele East in its Agricultural sector ; likewise empowering the youth in its modern agricultural initiative that is been used to help in alleviating and helping the farmers to actively achieve and gain more from the farming sector.
Consequently, the Chairman requested for adequate collaboration between IITA and Akinyele East LCDA for effective development in the area.
The Director General of West Africa Dr. Robert Asiedu promise to work hand in hand in the development, adequate advice to farmers on how their farming system can be effectively achieved, provision of good seedling for effective output of crops and effective provision of opportunity for youth to go under training for effective farming skill and adequate farming experience in all ramification. The Director General showcase some of the mechanized system being used for producing Garri, Yam flour (Elubo) e.t.c.
